New installation with the following problem...........

The LED lights is out of sync with the dial/timer selection i.e. when in fill or wash or spin the lights display is not in sync with the operation being performed.

Is there a way to resync the lights to the timer?

On another Maytag all you had to do was turn off put selection dial at 3 oclock & turn on again, presto done.

Thanks

Sounds like the timer knob or skirt is wallowed out and not sitting correctly on the shaft.  Part number: AP4043389
