This is a washer with missing linkage going from coin op slide to the timer inside the meter case. I found an older diagram that shows more parts inside the case than the current diagrams show, however it did not show any part numbers. There is an extension piece, and then the missing piece. I would guess it acts like a finger that dangles down and slides past the timer during coin insert, and catches timer on release as thats the direction the timer gets engaged. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate the quick response. I see thats the extension. I have that. But it appears there should be a piece that goes from the extension to the "clutch". Thats the part im seeking. My only other thought is is my clutch broken/missing a piece? It looks very much like the diagram so i lean toward missing a piece of linkage.
Thanks again

here is a good pic of the linkage, it has an arm that drops down from the side with a nylon roller or glide on it, does your extention have this arm?

http://media.datatai...l/118310_en.pdf

same pdf shows the dryer extention, it does not have the drop down arm

Ok. Clutch looks same as amazon pic. So, that leaves the extension. The one in there is the same as the dryer one, without the rollers. So it seems i am looking at someone elses failed attempt of repair.

Ill get the roller one ordered.

I really appreciate your help. Above and beyond!
Thankyou

~Andy

Not all coin-op washer slide extensions have the roller on the coin slide extension, some just have an "L" leg coming down from the extension instead of the roller that engages the timer cam in the same fashion as the roller.

How about taking some pictures of what you have and posting, that might be of some help to help you determine what is going on.

The roller linkage was the missing piece. Washer up and running. Thankyou for all your help. (Also decided to look at dryer linkage, found out the coin slides had been swapped) go figure
