All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, March 30 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Information on this model is easily found in the download section using truncated searching. Please watch this video

Then search the Download section for "PSS22I*" and you will find the manual.

Then I'm certain after watching the video you took some initiative, modified my typo, complied with forum rules (see http://appliantology.org/topic/47178-please-search-the-downloads-section-before-posting-a-service-manual-request/) and searched for "pFs22i*", right?

Thanks for trying! I'm sureyou'll get the hang of it and when you do, you'll find a wealth of info throughout this site..

Searching "pfs22si*" (don't include the quotation marks).

You should see two entries in the dl section

http://appliantology.org/files/file/1525-ge-bottom-mount-refrigerators-service-guide/

And

http://appliantology.org/files/file/507-ge-refrigerator-minimanual-31-51651/

PFS22SISBSS is the appliace I am concerned about.  I have tried PFS by itself and other combinations.  When I search forums I find these post but nothing else.  Are you seeing something different?

Waaay different!  For one thing, I'm not searching the forums, I'm searching just the Downloads section as I demonstrated in the video.  Did you watch it?  It's very short-- watch it again.

Check the box next to the box you typed your search string. If it says "this topic" that means you are searching only within this topic, the topic you created. Click on "this topic" and change it to "downloads."

And, don't forget to put the SHIFT 8 - STAR at the end for wildcard search.   If you are leaving that off it is looking for exactly what you type as a complete word which it will usually never find.
