All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

A cheaper appliance parts source -

FAAQ2

I know that from time to time everyone needs appliance parts - especially if you have a Kenmore product. The best place for appliance parts is:  AppliancePartsPros.com

Much better prices - shipping is reasonable and fast service - a great place to get your appliance parts.

No I don't work for them but a few years ago I ad to get a replacement control panel for my Kenmore Dish washer - from sears parts it was $ 85 + $ 22 shipping.

from AppliancePartsPros.com it was $22 + $ 6 shipping -

That's awesome, FAAQ, mucho domos for the testimonial!  Obviously, I completely agree that AppliancePartsPros.com is the best appliance parts supply site on the web.  Great prices, great stock, great return policy (return any part for any reason for one year, no hassles, yes, even electrical parts and electronic boards, no chit, mon), and, most of all, because when you purchase parts from AppliancePartsPros.com through affiliated links here at Appliantology.org, like this one and the parts search boxes, it helps support this site.

I really like APP a lot too.  The site is very easy to use, ordering is simple and strait forward, making an account and monitoring your parts orders is very easy too.  As far as price they are typically always below PartsSelect, Sears and Repair Clinic.  Amazon and Ebay are really the only places I find cheaper parts.  There are a few other places like ApplianceZone and some random ones I come across that have cheaper parts, however they don't provide the robust 1-year warranty and their shipping times can be very long.

APP is my go to source for parts now, thanks to Appliantology for introducing them to me!

they are by far the best if you are a little unsure as well.  Their return policy is second to none.  In fact utilizing them allows for you to more easily use longer warranty terms for your customers.  They ship fast too, even to the deep south.
