All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.

Having major issues diagnosing this unit. First complaint was no temps in both sides, control went blank and continous beeping. After unplugging several days the customer has good freezer temps (0 degrees) and no refrig sect temps. No frost build up and the defrost term therm checks good. Felt the fan coming into the refrig through the vents. Also it's showing 0 in freezer display and HI in the ff display. What could this be?.. How do I go I to diag mode Ect.

I'm not sure I understand your concern, Brother Brnt. Our records do not show that any link was deleted intentionally or unintentionally. If we missed something, please explain. If fisherking knows the year, he can get the manual through the blog link I posted above., The blog also advises about Frigidaire's b2b site.

https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?cid=161D5DAE096A24CE&resid=161D5DAE096A24CE!215&app=WordPdf that link to the manual he requested was in my last post, its now gone and replaced by your post saying manual requests only

Brother Brnt, the reason why this rule is in place should now be quite obvious to all. Fisherking posted the exact same question twice. Once in the kitchen forum and once in the manual forum. He received a warning point for doing that since it causes confusion. You intially responded to him in the post he made in the kitchen forum. Your post and the thread are still there. I reinforced the warning point to him in this thread by telling him manual requests only.

Don't believe me? Check out http://appliantology.org/topic/49171-help-with-diag-on-frigidaire-side-by-side-phs68ejsbo/

No problem my brother, it only serves to reinforce the point with Fisherking and others as to why certain rules are in place.

I apologize I was unaware of the rule but the reason the rule is in place makes sense. It was my first post and I needed the manual but had a question too. 100 push ups gonna do the trick? Lol
