All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

Bosch Freestanding Range HGS7052UC/01

I am looking for a manual for my Bosch range above (which no longer lights). I actually located the "Bosch Free Standing and Slide-in Ranges Service Manual" in the download area which would appear to cover this, but it is a pretty large file and my first attempt to retreive it resulted in a corrupted pdf. I now have exceeded an apparent download limit that I didn't know existed. Since I don't know when/if the counter resets, I am posting here.

Thank you, I appreciate your help.

The Download limits are clearly stated on the Subscriptions page that you had to have seen in order to subscribe.

The manual for your range is this one:  http://appliantology.org/files/file/1418-bosch-free-standing-and-slide-in-ranges-service-manual/

It is less than 10 MB, which is modest by service manual size standards.

If you're downloading using a device rather than a desktop computer and having trouble then STOP!  Don't just keep doing the same thing and expect different results.  Go to a desktop computer and download the file there.

Sorry - didn't mean to whine. I probably have more of an internet connection issue than anything else. Wasn't considering that failed retries would each be considered a download by the system.

Actualy using a high powered laptop over wi-fi and competing with my son for bandwidth.

I'll check in tomorrow using a desktop. Thanks again.
