The ice maker was working properly, then 1 day it stopped.  I checked the water supply(pressure is good), replaced the water valve and the ice maker is still dead. Besides replacing the entire unit is there anything else to check and or replace.  When I push the test button, nothing happens.  When pushing the test button, what is suppose to happen.  Does it initiate a harvest cycle?

Thanks

Pat

This is the model number of the refrigerator, I was unable to locate the model number of the ice maker.  Do I need to remove the panels of the ice maker to get a model number?

That model number doesn't even pull up at the Sears site.  Post a photo of the model number tag on the refrigerator itself.

If you push the test button and it doesn't cycle, then you need a new icemaker. It should cycle around and fill. Some test buttons you have to push and hold.
