We had some VERY heavy rain Monday night, and my basement ended up with 8 inches of water in it.  It drained out Tuesday morning.  I noticed the timer on my dryer was running, so I unplugged the dryer.  I plugged it back in and tried it yesterday, and it doesn't even start up.  Any suggestions on how to get this thing running again?  I'll post a separate topic about my washer...

Thanks!

The motor and wires in the lower part of the dryer are probably toast. Check with your homeowners/renters insurance to see if you can get your washer and dryer replaced.
