ice maker won't make ice

We have a Kenmore model # 2539768314, the Ice maker will not fill to make ice, the are goes up and down and the prongs do spin but it will not fill up with water, we checked the line and there is water going in to it, What can we do to fix it?   Thank you!!!!

Sounds like a case of fill tube freezup.

The fill tube is what puts the water into the ice maker in the freezer.  Check to see if it is clogged with ice.  If so clear it with a blow dryer, or pull it out and run it under hot water.  Your problem could also be a bad fill valve or the ice maker is not giving power to the valve.  If the valve is going bad by not putting enough water thru it in the fill time it will get clogged with ice.  If the tube is froze up, suspect the water valve might be going bad also.
