I have a GE commecial washer model wccd2050j2.
It does not start a cycle after coins have been inserted. Originally, I thought was the lid switch an replaced that. However it looks like the timer gets stuck somehow. When I moved the time manually by a few teeth ( turned the gear ) it started working. The machine is quite new and I did not expect the timer to go bad this quickly. Can the time be repaired or reconditioned somehow, rather than having to buy a new one at over $100 ?
Is it possible that I can lube the gears or have some sort of loose coupling between the timer motor and the cam gear ?
Your help is much appreciated..
