Our broiler doesn't light... the ignitor glows bright red but never lights.  As it failed it took progressivly longer to light.

 

The (upper) oven works fine...

MGR6772BDW.  The igniter may glow red but may have insufficient amperage to open the valve.  3.2 - 3.6 amps are required.  Also check the broil circuit on the safety valve for continuity.  The lack of any fault codes displayed and that the igniter glows would indicate that the control is good.
