I have a customer with a frigidaire flex tray icemaker in the refrigerator. Upon arrival i found a non running refrigerator. Customer pointed out to my there was a wire hanging from the icemaker. It was the sensor that mounts to the bottom of the tray. One wire was out of the sensor and it was burnt slightly on the end. I unplugged the icemaker and the unit started running. So i guess if you have a bad icemaker you loose everything in the frig and freezer. Great work there Electrolux!! So of course the is no easy way to work on this thing so I installed a new icemaker. Next day I got a call back from the customer. Icemaker is fully flexed and stuck in that position. So i installed another icemaker. Yes after 25 years of actually diagnosing appliances I have been reduced to a parts changer. Next icemaker does the same thing. Studied the wiring diagram I found on sears but i have no idea of the theroy of operation to make a deduction. any ideas will be muchly appreciated. thanks
