Every once in a while a get a msg ''CALL 1-800....'' when I use the main oven above 400 degree. I then have to turn off the breaker and on again.

I wonder if there is an internal reset switch that would fix the problem?

Maybe a better control board insulation would also help?

Any insight is appreciated

John

Moving this topic to the Kitchen appliance forum.

The number being displayed is probably (800) 444-9091

Nothing on that particular behavior in the service manual: Thermador Pro Grand Range Service Manual

Could be related to an overheat condition. Any temperature control problems?

No overheat problem that i can tell. Of course with the temperature gage not showing actuel temp but set temp it doesn't help seeing problems on the fly.

This being said my model is dual fuel with steam. Would you have the service manual for this model?

My model is PRD48JDSGC

There are seven variations on this model number, indicated by a "/0#" at the end of the model number. e.g., PRD48JDSGC/01

Please post the complete model number.

Jean
