Instead of running through expensive fuses I made these 15A and 20A circuit breakers.

The breakers are sold on Amazon - 15A  20A  - as are the alligator clips, and I had plenty left over from making my diode tester, and they use regular old spade connectors.  Sold at Freds for $15 each, these cost about $6 each to make, less if you already have extra alligator clips laying around.
