kenmore elite gas dryer 110 79094990 hums starts and shuts off

My dryer started humming then shut off drum would turn for a second or two the shuts off.

Sounds like the motor is going bad. Did the problem just occur out of the blue?

You can click on the part and it will take you the appliancepartspros website to order the motor. The video will show how to install but dryer models differ slightly. If it is in fact the motor is the part that is failing.
