Wash machine finished wash cycle but will not drain.  Any recommendations on where to start for reset or repair?

Is the timer stalled out and not advancing?

Can you manually rotate the timer to drain?

I've tried a couple of different things 1. I've rotated the timer back around to the wash cycle and restarted . . . after getting to the end of the wash cycle, the unit stops then nothing happens. 2 Left the timer pulled out (in the on position) slowly advanced the timer through the remaining cycles . . .the only thing that happens is when the spin cycle is reached the unit agitator starts but after a period of time the unit stops and of course no draining occurs.

BTW, is there any diagnostic test(s) I can perform to confirm it is the lid lock ?
