Crew... I've searched... can't find anything related.
We just moved into a house. The oven won't get up to temperature. I was able to diagnose this as a bad ignitor. The oven has 2, and upper and a lower. The lower works fine. I snipped the upper out, and there was no resistance, so I ordered a replacement. I've wired the replacement in, and nothing. During my various testing... I had the voltmeter hooked up to the wiring, and noticed it went from roughly 6 volts to 12ish volts. I wired everything back up, and switched the oven on (happened to be to broil), and it lit right up.
HOWEVER... it hasn't lit up since regardless of temp setting.
Either way... I suspect the next step is the circuit board? The lower ignitor and burner light every time without issue. I'm also not sure if the upper burner is supposed to light all the time... but the oven gets nowhere close to temp on just the one burner... so I'm guessing yes.
