Can someone help me figure out how to remove a temperature sensor from my 1993 GE oven XL44? You can find a photo of the clear plastic connection piece here: http://members.cox.n...temp_sensor.jpg
The photo is slightly blurry but I was hoping that this would be a somewhat common wire connector that someone would recognize. It seems like it should be simple to remove but simply pulling one end from the other isn't working and I'm afraid to use too much force. Is there any "trick" to getting this apart?
I have a 1993 GE XL44 free standing gas oven (Model #: JGBP26GEN6WH) I'm getting a fault code of F3, so I'm trying to replace the temperature sensor.

Looks like all you have to do is pull up on the tabs on each side...give it a good tug..Ron
