If your fridge is freezing stuff you might have a frozen water bladder thereby water cannot flow freely.

GE calls it a double coil.Couple of things to check on the fridge.

Check your fridge or fresh food  temp sensor

Check your damper assembly it might be stuck open or bad

Check your temp sensor to the main pcb first to make sure the voltage reading matches the temp of the fridge  or the Resistance reading of the temp sensor matches the temp inside the fridge. The main pcb might think it's not cold enough and will keep trying to cool down the fridge and thereby freezing stuff inside the fridge depending on how the sensor reads.

Or you can always buy a fridge temp sensor and install it. That would be the easiest and quickest thing to do.

It all depends on your skill level of troubleshooting electronic stuff. Also hopefully there will be a tech sheet tuck away somewhere on the fridge. Good troubleshooting
