This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

Hope you guys can help.

I get a CH 61 code and according to the manual I was able to find that indicates a condenser inlet high temperature. It might be a temp sensor on the condenser inlet. And that is all it says. In other parts of the manual it at least gives a way to check various sensors and where they may plug in on the controller. This one has nothing. Testing and replacing sensors I can probably do with a little more information.

Can you guys help? It looks like I can get sensors from you guys if I know which one I need.

Thanks

Is this an air conditioner? Make sure the condenser fan is running to cool the coils, and that the fins are not clogged with debris?

Yes it is an A/C. The motor runs fine and the coils are clean that's why I was looking at the sensor but I don't know how to test it or where it even plugs into the main board.
