Does Maytag think I am stupid, I dont need the lid lock safety feature.

I can't believe the put a lid lock on a washer so you can not open the washer lid to see it work.  I don't think it  works right, but I can't open the lid to see how it is doing..... How can I disable this dumb feature?

It's called "CYA."  You can thank the lawyers and useless eaters that need to be warned that hot cups of coffee can burn.  Same deal, different application.  And, for the same reasons, you will not learn how to bypass the lid switch here at the Samurai School cuz if'n you ain't got smarts enough to figger it out on yer own, you ain't got no bidness messin' wif it.  Uh duh ruh?
