York, the best, but then I have to say that ;), Trane, Carrier, Lennox are all about the same. U are paying more for the name.
Rheem, Rudd, Goodman, all do a good job, are cheaper, but some including Lennox have more OEM parts that U can only get from them.
Go for the highest SEER rating U can afford. Even if U move soon, it adds value to the house.
