How do I tell if a part is bad? From all the info I got it seems it should be the door switch or latch , which I think on mine are all one piece.

first,try flipping the float up and down a few times and see if it runs, the be more descriptive,does it fill with water and then hum? does anything happen at all? try turning circuit breaker of and the on again. :X
