Wards Signature 2000 window unit, Model KSA5848, Serial 0617205. Date code 00B, 8000BTU,
Young kids barely able to make rent and the A/C goes on the blink. It's getting hot here in Texas!! Squirrel cage blower wheel has broken, "drive tower" inside the cage (?) has broken into pieces. Rest of unit seems to be working well. Fan is 7.25" in dia. 2.75" deep, Black, the only markings on the blower wheel are 070301 and 040ABS. Am told this is a unit produced by Sharp. Where to get parts? Can one of you who have been around awhile convert this to a SHARP model number? Can anyone work from Wards model nos.? I'd sure like to be able to just replace this blower wheel and not have to remanufacture (jury-rig) it. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. Sorry to post in Kitchen but Laundry didnt seem any better.

This Model # shows at www.sears.com looks like ref # 1-12 is the front blower wheel NFANPA040JBF0 WHICH CHANGES TO 46-175756-3 for $56.99 from sears + shipping + tax. Perhaps it can be gotten for less here from the Samuari??? You might want to go into the Sears parts area to check this by putting in your model number and looking at the breakdown to make sure I am correct on the part needed?? Pegi
