My Jenn-Air free standing oven is consistently too cool. I have replaced the sensor in the oven but the temperature indicated on the panel is consistently 25-50 degrees higher than a thermometer placed inside the oven. It is an electronic control panel. Can I calibrate this oven myself or do I need a special tool? I have no manual.

Not finding anything for that model number, re-check it.  I did find information on a SVE47100 (one less zero).  This model had three significant revisions, so I'll need your serial number, too.

You're right, I miswrote the number: it's SVE47100B (for black, I assume). The serial number is 11006483SK.
Thanks,

I have the same model Jenn-Air.  The temp is 25 degrees cooler inside than what the digital temp says.  My down draft motor is also bad.

We ultimately gave up and had the repair man come. The problem was caused by a short circut in the sensor wires behind the oven. The insulation must have gotten stripped somehow, shorting the signal. When we replaced the whole unit, the oven worked great.
