First time caller, long time listener! Wife informed me that the washer won't spin. Sure enough it doesn't! Prior to not spinning any longer it used to bang like the load was unbalanced on a regular basis. Not the handiest guy in the world but would like to give repairing it a shot. How do I access the internals of the machine and then what do I look for. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Suggest you look a few threads down to "Loud noise during spin cycle" your machine is basically the same.
Mad Mac....Pray to God he's out there....somewhere.
