WTW4950 SPIN ISSUE

13 September 2014 - 10:22 AM

GREETINGS.

I HAVE A WTW4950XL2 WHIRLPOOL TOP LOAD WASHER THAT IS ACTING STRANGE. WHEN IT GETS TO THE POINT IN THE CYCLE WERE I BELIEVE IT SHOULD SPIN, IT LOOKS LIKE THE WAS PLATE SPINS OUT OF CONTROL. IF YOU PUT THE UNIT IN DIAG AND SELECT LOW SPIN, AGAIN THE WASH PLATE SPINS REALLY FAST FOR FEW SECONDS AND THEN FAULTS OUT. YOU  HAVE TO UNPLUG TO RESET UNIT. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS.

THANKS

Fresh food compartment cooling ok and middle crisper drawer seems to be right temp as well. I dont think the 3 way valve is swithing properly but not real sure how to test. Anyone have any Idea's?

Anyone having problems with water building up in the bottom of both compartments. Drains not stopped up, seems to be running down the inside of the evaporator covers.
Thanks.
