It dispenses the rinse aid, or at least uses it up. "Wax motor at the dispenser" I'm not sure what that means.

Model No. checks out. The part number you gave 167085 is a circulation pump repair kit. In other words the pump for pushing water through the unit. At $67 I might spring for it. How much of a bear are we talking about? 1 hour, 4 hours, assuming I'm sort of mechanically adept, can you direct me to a manual to show me what I'd be getting into to? Seems to be plenty of water in the unit.

Got back from an 11 day business trip and pulled the icemaker out and ran a continuity check on the wires, all looked good, put it back in and it appears that it started working. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the reply. The old icemaker was working then quit, I did the jumper on the T and H on it and it didn't harvest (with light switch depressed), so that is why I bought an new icemaker with apparently the same problem/result. I'll pull the unit and run continuity checks on the wires and check out what voltage readings I'm getting out of the outlet in the back of the refrigerator, not tonight though.

Thanks very much for your help.

Its reading about 8 degrees with a Taylor A/C-dial type thermometer.

I've no voltage between L and N, not plugged in all the way? I'll fiddle with the plug from the unit to the back of the refrigerator.

Nope got nothing.
