Maytag PAV3360AWW has "filling issues"

22 November 2013 - 09:02 PM

Hello everyone- Started a load of clothes tonight. Machine filled and agitated normally throughout the wash cycle, spun out water normally, but then did not fill with the cold rinse. To make thing a bit more weird, it started agitating normally.Interestingly enough, I tried going back and starting the "wash" cycle, but this time the machine would not start to fill again. I had to go "Amish" and fill with cold water to complete the rinse and again, it spun the water out just like it should. The clothes are in the dryer now. I'm not sure where to start looking for a solution.

Thanks for any ideas you can provide.

Maytag PAV3360AWW weirdest thing happened

14 August 2013 - 06:07 PM

I put a load in on the "oversize" setting. All went well until it filled on the rinse cycle and just stopped with nothing happening. I bailed out the water and removed the clothes. When I closed the lid it started agitating-not spinning.

I reset the machine and started it again and all was normal. I put half the load back in to rinse and right now all is going along normally.

I saw the answer about the lid switch, but it agitated with the lid open just like normal.

I'm more than a bit perplexed. Any ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks to all!

Maytag washer won't agitate or spine

23 December 2010 - 04:34 PM

The machine is a Maytag Model PAV3360AWW. The machine stopped in the middile of a load just after the rinse cycle started. It filled with water, but won't agitate or spin. The pump does drain the water when engaged. I lost the owner's manual. Is this likely a belt issue? I haven't started doing anything yet.

Thanks all and Merry Christmas
