gotta say all the boots i have replaced on every brand available i have never had the need to remove the front, i have however had to cross town in rushhour to help other techs get it done

either arm will still spray water, i think the issue that needs to be adressed first is the no draining, dirty old water doesn;t wash dishes

the glass top would be glued to a frame that would be screwed to the box, access would be by removing those screws, the valve are ussually servicable, thouroly clean and then reassemble, bubble test after. of course you turn off the gas first before anything.

does your range have a control lock? many frigidaires do and they will say LOC on the display, there will be a button to push and hold to release this feature, consult manual if unsure of button
