When you select the cycle it fills then agitates for about 20 min, then just stops like it's done. select another cycle and it drains and spins.

no codes on the inverter board and when you run the diagnostic mode everything runs great

Maytag MLE2000ayw

15 July 2013 - 08:53 AM

Maytag MLE2000ayw won't start. you push the start button it will drain until you release the button. The customer brought in the machine control board and on the back it was burnt around connection P-3 !,2,3.leading to P-4. Trying to save money he wanted to just buy the board and replace himself.

I have never seen it burn out in that spot before and it advised him it should be checked out.

In saving $75.00 service call he came and got the board put it in, 1 hour later called and said he hit the start button and heard a loud spark, brought the new board back and same burnt spot.

Has anybody run into this before? It looks like that it comes from the timer. Thanks!!

Maytag MFI2665XEM7

31 May 2013 - 01:13 PM

This maytag Ice2O Model MFI2665XEM7 doesn't make ice.

The Ice maker keeps revolving around but no water enters.

Also you can't shut it off by lifting the arm.
