In Topic: LG HE front loaders - are they any good?

An update:  It's been a year, and we are still delighted with our LG machines.  Outstanding!

In Topic: Replacing a freezer door seal - any tips? How difficult is it?

Hey, htought I'd update this.  I took the advice of Brian S, and tweaked it.  It worked like a charm, and we've had no problem since.

:thanks:

In Topic: Broken glass oven front - can't find model number!

07 April 2014 - 05:39 PM

I appreciate the help, but when the site shows a gas wall oven for that part number, and the glass they show looks very different from mine, my confidence in getting the right part isn't very high.  Not high enough to spend my money, anyway.

I tried the chat, and didn't get a response.  Took about 5 minutes to get a message that all operators are busy.  That's not a good way to run a business!  After about 20 minutes, I gave up.

Sears.com gave me the right product right off the bat, so I ordered it.

Thanks for all the help.

Try another site, like Sears or Repair Clinic. Nice pictures at Repair Clinic.

I did find the element at RepairClinic, and both parts at Sears.  I was hoping to give the business to our sponsor here.

I should have been more clear,   That part number shows up, but as a gas-fired wall oven.  This is a free-standing electric stove.
