GE Dishwasher GLDA696MSS Drain Issue

20 June 2015 - 01:07 PM

Customer complaint was water left in unit at end of cycle.  Inspected and found all lines and sump clear so I ordered a new drain pump.  Went into service mode and filled  then selected aux motor (drain) and unit drain with good force at airgap.  Continued testing to be sure and same slow  drain problem came back.  It would eventually drain but start out very slow and then pickup force. Removed drain hose and airgap and all are clear.  This has a simple drain system. Water from sump enters a large diameter tube straight to pump then out the drain hose.  All is clear. It is as if the drain pump is "cavitating." Don't think made in China has anything to do with it. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Maytag MFI2569YEM0 Lights on, nothing else

06 May 2015 - 06:32 PM

I have a french door maytag that the interior lights are on and nothing else. Display is blank.  No 12v at HV board to user interface on door. I diagnosed the HV board because it had 120 volts in but nothing out except interior lamps.  Also included 12v evap fan motor. Any thoughts about the diagnosis or have I missed something? Any input would be appreciated.

Whirlpool ref wrs325fdab02 ice chute door delay.

06 October 2014 - 02:46 PM

Unit is less then one year old. Ice switch starts dispensing with cradle half way depressed a nd door only half open causing cubes to jam. Depressing cradle fully allows cubes to drop. ice gets caught in the door when cradle released because there is no delay to hold door open to allow last cubes to drop. Is there an upgraded delay for this door to prevent this?

Frigidaire range PLGFZ390ECE control overlay

25 September 2013 - 07:34 PM

Serviced this range where the clock overlay had blistered. This overlay/touchpad has a ribbon connector attached to the control. Lookup info shows an overlay and clock control. Replacement overlay has no ribbon connector. Do i need to also change the clock now? No mention on marcone website or lookup info. Anybody run into this?
