Frigidaire Front Loader ATFB6700FS0 door replacement

09 July 2013 - 03:12 PM

I have an opportunity to get a Frigidaire Front Loader ATFB6700FS0 for $100.00.

Aparently thier 7 year old used the door as a ladder, hence the need for replacement.

I am thinking I only need to replace the inner door frame. But being only a lowly grasshopper

I seek the guidence of the masters of Apliantology.

Frigidaire Front Loader strikes yet again

05 June 2012 - 12:41 PM

OK so my SO started a load of laundry in the trusty Frigidaire Front Loader model # FWT449GFS0. Everything going smoothly, I go out to have a smoke, light up take a few drags....all of a sudden I hear a noise that sounds like a train wreck. Come back in and the washer has stopped doing its stuff. Upon closer inspection I see a chunck of light grey plastic about the size of a small piece of pie way in the back.
quickly scan the parts list and it looks like it is from the Rear Drum w/Bearing. Well there goes that new socket set I wanted. It's a $213.00 part. I doubt this can be crazy glued back with any assurance of longevity. At this point is it worth it to repair or just bury in the yard and go shopping for a new washer? Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

How Do you replace the fuel filter on a oil burner

19 September 2008 - 02:59 AM

OK so it's still warm enough in the Hudson Valley, trees not yet turning so I want to be ahead of the curve. What is the procedure for changing the fuel filter (not the air filter I know how to do that) on an oil furnace.

Frigidaire Gallery series front load washer model FWT449GFS0

30 August 2008 - 05:10 AM

Ok so I finally got the switch as recommended. Access panel removed. Now things get confusing to me. I think and please correct me but this new door switch assembly is set up like a jumper for the existing wiring correct? Instructions say remove 9 pin plug then connect new 9 pin plug then connect old 9 pin plug to board. So it seems to me I will be using the existing wireing but adding the new wire from the new switch and jumping the connections. Have I got it right or am I hopelessly lost?

Yippie I was right so the washer now works! Thank you all for your previous help you guys are the best! Now its time time finish up the job, wash some clothes and kick back. :D
