Samsung F/L Washer WF316LAS/XAA 230854AL

09 August 2013 - 11:20 PM

I said i wouldn't attempt to work on Samsung to much but i have been getting alot of calls lately on them. Typically just pump issues and such but this problem is new to me. So, i need some direction. I downloaded the quick guide for this model (thanks).

The customer has a Samsung F/L washer that he replaced the pump and door switch/Lock assy on. The complaint is this machine will not wash, drain or spin. I went by to check it out and I have no power to the pump but there is water in the tub. Door locks, I have confirmed no voltage to pump confirmed new pump and door switch. If I remove the water it will fill but nothing else, just stops. I'm gonna head back out there Monday with the quick guide in hand.

Any ideas before i go back?

25 August 2011 - 08:10 PM

Hi all,

Customer GE SxS ref. will not run at all. I have run into this before and replaced the motherboard. Normally will solve this issue but not this time. I had one on the truck and put it in for a test. This is new out of the box. Standard board WR55X10942, verified right board. Still nothing, no evap motor no cond. motor no compressor. Lites on in refrigerator. 120 VAC to board. Getting late so i have to go back. Any ideas? Oh forgot to mention, display in refrig. is out, also no lites to dispenser either.

Marvel Icemaker Mod. 30IM7703 Ser. EM/111006076

18 October 2010 - 05:54 PM

Need some help on this under counter Ice Maker. Been to this customers house twice now. When i get there there is no water running through the distributor but there is water in the trough. Pump is not running and unit is quiet. This is where it gets fishy. I take the screws out of the bottom front grill and something sounds like its running but not sure cause all of a sudden unit turns on and everything will run.

It runs for 2 or 3 days and fills up with ice. Then it starts this cycle again of not making ice. Customer calls me and i go back out and same thing i take off the grill when unit is quiet but all of a sudden it starts back up and works for 2 or 3 days. I called customer service (Marvel) and they are stumped and suggest i take it to the shop and watch it. Anyone run into this scenario before on this unit?
