I would just remove it. Moving it may cause new vibrations and noises.

You can also see if the LED on the inverter is flashing. If you get 4 flashes you need the mode shifter.

Just remove the tub ring and let her see all the crud that's built up in there. That usually convinces a customer their machine needs to be junked.

Checked for broken or cracked shocks? Check for loose basket pulley. Look to see if there is looseness in spin basket or bearings. Maybe basket is out of round from cracked tub support.

Also, check to see if the nut on the drive pulley has worked loose. Otherwise, learn to use the diagnostics on this machine to troubleshoot problems.
