LTE5243DQ6 will not wash

20 October 2014 - 11:10 PM

I got a used Washer Dryer Combo unit and it wont work. After hooking it up it filled with water and did nothing. No mater where I set the timer it will not run. I thought it may be the lid switch so I jumped the switch with no results. I tried another timer from a different machine that I had but that didn't work either. Its hard to fathom that both timers are bad. Any trouble shooting Technics would be appreciated

Maytag Dryer is squealing

22 April 2012 - 12:35 PM

My Maytag MDG6200AWX has an awful squeal. I looked at the drawings and see no Idler pulley. I'm thinking it may be the drum slide, the drum roller or the drum roller axle . Any suggestions?

Whirlpool ETW4400XQ washer Water temps

25 March 2012 - 10:23 AM

The owners manual states "Wash cycles with controlled temperatures are designed to maintain cleaning performance while using less water and energy compared to older traditional washers. As a result, water levels will be lower,
and hot and warm wash temperatures may not be as warm as you are used to"
So what temp should I expect when using the hot setting?
