Samsung Fridge M# RS265LBBP

06 October 2014 - 07:04 PM

Hi All,

Went out on this fridge in August.

The Fridge side condensate drain hole had frozen over and iced up almost the entire evaporator. It took unplugging the unit for 24 hours then 2 hours with the steam gun to finally get the evaporator cover off!

I told the customer to call me AT THE FIRST SIGN of water under the crisper drawers so as to not let this happen again.

He just called... water under the crisper drawers. :wallbash:

Question is: is there a condensate drain hole heater available? I know that this is not your typical defrost heater on these. Is there some way to keep this drain hole open?

Thank You! Bob

Hi All,

Working on an LP Gas Range that I suspect may have a low supply gas pressure.

Wondering what type/brand Manometer the Masters use.

Like everything else, there are just too many choices. I don't think I want the water type or the digital type. (Looks like the digital ones need to be re-calibrated).

Is see some Dial types that come in a blow-molded plastic case. Maybe that is the way to go?

Also, are there any common fittings that will be needed to attach it to an appliance? And I am sure it is model number dependent, but what are the common places that you would attach it to Ranges or Dryers?

Thank You! Bob

Frigidaire F/L Washer M# ATF8000FS1

03 August 2014 - 03:50 PM

Hi All,

Working on a Frigidaire F/L Washer Model# ATF8000FS1 with an E5E error code. Communication Error.

Per Tech Sheet, "check wiring from Control to MCU. If wiring good replace Main Control, if that does not fix it replace MCU".

Does anyone know of any tests I can do to prove if it is either the Main Control or the MCU?

Many Thanks, Bob

Whirlpool Fridge M# GD25DFXFN02

20 May 2014 - 09:44 PM

Hi All,

Whirlpool Fridge Model# GD25DFXFN02

I went out on his Fridge last week with a complaint of both compartments warming up one day and then the next day both compartments cooling fine again. This Fridge has a mechanical Damper. When I was there both compartments were fine: -5 in Freezer and 36 in Fridge. I cleaned the condenser coils and told them to call me if this happens again.

They called me this afternoon and said that last night the Ice Cream was getting soft, but this morning everything is as hard as a rock again.

The only things I can think of are the Cold Control or the Compressor relay.

Any thoughts?

Thank You! Bob
