Samsung Fridge, RF323TEDBSR freezing up the water filter

04 April 2014 - 07:42 AM

We are working on a Samsung  Mod #RF323TEDBSR/aa-0001  Ser # V35343BD101741Y

Data,  35d in all crisper drawers, 36 in fresh food compartment, -2 in freezer, no frost issues, all air flow seams normal, unit is cooling properly.

The water filter has frozen around the seal where it connects to the filter head, we steamed the filter head and dried it. We put the filter back in and it sort of worked.  When you dispense water it flows fine when the button is half way pressed.  As you push the button further the water flow slows down and stops.  Very Strange?  To complicate thins more the customer just replaced the filter with one purchased from Best Buy,this new filter does not fit the same as the old one.   The customer has disposed of the original filter.  I checked 3 parts suppliers and found 3 different part number for the filter.  My local supplier said they no longer make the filter and all they have is a replacement.

GE Hydrowave Washer

19 March 2014 - 03:30 PM

Model: GLWN5050M0WS

Serial: VT173951G

In the spin cycle the washer does not spin fast enough to get the water out of a small load of towels. The towels come out soaking wet. The drain pump is working normally.

It jerks violently back and forth when in the spin cycle. The clutch seems to be working fine.

I checked the shifter coil and I'm getting 65.6 ohms. There is no error codes. The red light continuously flashes every couple of seconds with no pauses.

Please give advice...

GE Microwave, stops for no reason,

13 February 2014 - 04:51 PM

MODEL # JVM2070SK02      SER #   TL900983B

We are working on a GE Microwave, for no reason it will stop.   If you set it for 3:00 it will heat and start counting down.  For no reason it will stop, Light off, Magnetron Off, Turntable off and the time will pause.  If you hit start again it will not start. You have to hit cancel to clear it and restart the operation.  Sometimes you have to unplug it to clear it.

Example: set it for  "3:00"  push  "START"  operating normal and at  "1:32"  it will stop and just get stuck displaying the time.

We have changed the , KEY PAD WB07X10972-- , SMART BOARD WB27X10900,-- PCB BOARD WB2710901, and all 3 door switches.

I'm stuck, I have no clue what to do next.  Please help

Samsung refrigerator with two issues ice appears to melt and refreeze and there's i...

06 December 2013 - 02:12 PM

Model number RF267AERS/XAA Ser# D56443CZ400077Z This refrigerator seems to have two issues.

Issue number one is the ice appears to thaw and then refreeze Causing it to clump together. All the seals around ice maker look good, dispenser flap appears to seal fine. Has anyone seen this issue?

The second issue is there is frost building up where the tracks meet the front door on the freezer door. All of the gaskets in both the fresh food and the freezer door are sealing up fine. I see no other areas where they could be an air leak. Has anyone seen this issue?
