Samsung RFG237AARS/XAA we keep getting the wrong part,

12 June 2015 - 05:00 PM

MODEL: RFG237AARS/XAA
SERIAL: C29443BDB00579R

I have ordered the main control board 2 times and both times the board was wrong. The part number I have ordered is DA92-00355B  the boards we received looked Identical the the original board except that they are missing the YELLOW CN78 jack.

Am I ordering the correct board or is there something else I need to do to make this work?

Motor just hums 11029422801 CY4021872

Motor just hums 11029422801    CY4021872

"

Dumb question but I can't figure it out in my head.  My tech called me and said on the motor connector he has 120 from "R" to "GY" and 120 from "B" to "GY" but the motor just hums.  He tested the Cap and it was good, the pump and transmission turn freely by hand.   He replaced the motor and it does the soe thing it just hums.  Any suggestions?

lG FRIDGE LFX31945ST/01 AUGER MOTOR WILL NOT TURN AFTER NEW BOARD

This fridge had a bad main board, the part number is EBR73093611 however this board was discontinued.   The number I found as a replacement part was EBR73093617  I put this board in and everything work fine except for the ice auger motor.  It just hums when you close the switch.  I tested the power to the motor and there is 120v to it and it reverses when you select crushed or cubed.  This led me to believe the motor was bad.  I have tried 2 new motors and it still will not work.  Does anyone know what could cause this?

Kenmore 48" built in no cool in the Freezer, Mod# 40140483800

If you have a manual please send it to me.

The fresh food evap is cooling and the fresh food side is holding 38df

The freezer is at 40df , there is no frost on the coil

I understand the basics of this fridge but I am not clear on a few things.  So if anyone had some advice please let me know. My big question is does this fridge work like a normal Samsung or is there a switching valve between the evaporators?  I see a part called a step valve and I assume this switches the refrigerant flow between the 2 evaporators.  How do I test it?

Whirlpool Dryer Leaving Scorch marks on fabric WGD9371YW0

13 March 2015 - 04:36 PM

Mod WGD9371YW0  Ser  M23401992

The customer says this dryer is leaving burnt or scorch marks on the fabric.  The dryer held about 160 average with a high of 210 and a low of 120 degrees.  The felt seals on the drum look like new and there is no rust on the bulkhead where the drum seals ride. The blower housing is clean, and the air flow in the dryer is clear and strong.  The vent to the outside is not restricted and the airflow is good.  There is nothing obviously wrong with the dryer, its 3 years old and looks like new. The only thing I can think is it is coming from somewhere else and the customer thinks its form the dryer.   I watched it dryer an entire load of white sheets in 40 m, it worked great, everything was normal and there were no burnt spots.

I have seen rust and grease spots before but this does look like burt spots.  Does anyone have a suggestion?
