KEMS378SSS0 F6 E0 the nightmare before Halloween

28 October 2014 - 07:38 AM

KEMS378SSS0  F6 E0 the nightmare before Halloween!   I can not find that mod and serial number tag any place on this unit.

When I arrived on the job I observed.

1. The bottom oven worked and operated normal.

2. The microwave was responsive but when you turned it on the magnatron, cavity light, fan and turntable were not responsive.

3. The display for the microwave worked fine and the time would count down when you turned on the microwave.

I checked the Diagnostics and found and F6 E0 in both displays.  The tech sheet said to check and reinsert the P2 harness between the lower oven UI and the microwave UI.  I did exactly that. This did not correct the problem.

I then removed and reinserted P10 on the microwave UI and it started working.   After that I could not duplicate the problem.

Has anyone ever experienced this before?  What should I do next?  Change the Microwave UI and the harness?   I feel like if I change these expensive parts it will probably not fix it.

Samsung dishwasher model DMT800RHS error code oE.

13 June 2014 - 06:44 AM

Samsung dishwasher model DMT800RHS error code OE. This code will only appear when using normal mode after 10 minutes into the cycle. When code appears, unit will not respond to any commands. I have to turn off the breaker to get the unit to respond . When using Quick + mode the unit will run start to finish without any interruption. My research only states a water level error ( water level is too high). Any ideas on where to start?

LG Dryer DLE2532W gets to 1 Min left and then never shuts off

28 April 2014 - 09:07 AM

LG Dryer Mod# DLE2532W  Ser# 306KW00566  gets to 1 Min left and then never shuts off??

We replaced the thermister 2 times, then we replaced the control board and user interface board, cleaner and tested the moister sensor.  We cleaned the blower housing and dryer vent.

We have spoken to LG they said they have no clue what it could be.  Does anybody have any ideas?

Samsung Fridge, RF323TEDBSR freezing up the water filter

04 April 2014 - 07:42 AM

We are working on a Samsung  Mod #RF323TEDBSR/aa-0001  Ser # V35343BD101741Y

Data,  35d in all crisper drawers, 36 in fresh food compartment, -2 in freezer, no frost issues, all air flow seams normal, unit is cooling properly.

The water filter has frozen around the seal where it connects to the filter head, we steamed the filter head and dried it. We put the filter back in and it sort of worked.  When you dispense water it flows fine when the button is half way pressed.  As you push the button further the water flow slows down and stops.  Very Strange?  To complicate thins more the customer just replaced the filter with one purchased from Best Buy,this new filter does not fit the same as the old one.   The customer has disposed of the original filter.  I checked 3 parts suppliers and found 3 different part number for the filter.  My local supplier said they no longer make the filter and all they have is a replacement.

GE Hydrowave Washer

19 March 2014 - 03:30 PM

Model: GLWN5050M0WS

Serial: VT173951G

In the spin cycle the washer does not spin fast enough to get the water out of a small load of towels. The towels come out soaking wet. The drain pump is working normally.

It jerks violently back and forth when in the spin cycle. The clutch seems to be working fine.

I checked the shifter coil and I'm getting 65.6 ohms. There is no error codes. The red light continuously flashes every couple of seconds with no pauses.

Please give advice...
