Electrolux Refrigerator FTR18IL6JM3 - Condensation at top inside of fridge compartment

02 August 2011 - 08:00 PM

Both the freezer and fridge compartments are nice and chilly. No cooling problems at all...

However, for the last few months there has been an excessive amount of condensation building up on the top inside of the fridge. This is a 2 door, freezer on top unit.

Only on the top inside, and no where else. I did notice some black gunk on the floor under the fridge once when I moved it, but didnt think anything of it at the time...

I'm trying to find a current model breaker that will fit a GE TR series load center.. Currently have a tandem 15amp 2 pole breaker in place, but this is just a temporary spare until I get a tandem 20 in there.. would love to find a newer series that will swap in!

GE JTP56W0A2WW Double Oven - F7 Error

03 November 2008 - 09:09 AM

Wow!  Two appliance problems in less than a week.  First the refrigerator, now the oven.

Came back to ask a question and found this link:

A few minutes later, and no more never-ending annoying beeping!  Cleaned the contacts on the touchpad ribbon cable, and all is well.

Thanks again!

GE Profile Performance TFX26PPDA

Model TFX26PPDAWW

Serial TZ276809

Took a nice swig of some pleasantly spoiled milk this afternoon. YUM!  Then realized its not all that cold in the fridge.  Fan is running in freezer, but some ice cups I have were melted.  Food still frozen (thank god), and rushed everything to a freezer in the garage.

Pulled out the inside panel and see lots of frost in back.  Sooooo, now what?  Do I just let her sit overnight and thaw?  Will this happen again the next day?
Something obviously isnt working too well.  Cheap replacement parts hopefully??  Since I've got this thing pulled out, should I remove the bottom panel in back and clean out in there?
