if your fill tube is frozen it may be split, if you have ice in the fill tube, replace fill tube, how old is your fridge? If your fridge is approx 6 years or older and has worked fine up until now ,you do not need a fill tube heater kit , you require a modual for the ice maker .. make sure when you replace the modual you unplug the fridge . If you do not have a kit to pre advance the ice maker you should have ice by the next day (less than that but for sure next day)

Good Luck

Did you do a visual inspection of the radiant glass heater? if burned out replace heater and defrost limit switch. the heater is easy accessed once the front panel is off ,2 philips screws . remember when replacing a glass heater do not touch the glass.. Sometimes to technical can leed you astray.

simple visual can lead you in the right direction, if the hearter and dts ok then futher investigation is required and with this fridge a steamer is higly recommended ,make sure all ice and frost are completly removed.. Clean Condenser as well..

Good luck!

with all the plastics in refrigerators now ,suggest using a portable steamer for defrosting or removing ice . they are cheaper than replacing a melted fridge linner :samurai:
