Finally was able to go back and work on it and replaced the fill tube assy. It was a snap to do, just like you said. Now waiting for it to fill to look for leaks. More later and thank you!

Water inlet
This is where I am talking about. It's on the back of the fridge, dead center and at the top.The water is spraying out where the line runs into the refrigerator. I replaced the water valve but did not use the new line that came with it. Water Valve
