I have a quick simple question. My dog(puppy) chewed up the speaker wire running from my surround sound system to its speakers. The speaker wire is 22 gauge wire. It's just a low end surround system and I have a whole roll of 18 gauge and 24 gauge speaker wire. Would it be a big deal if I spliced this in to the old wire? If not which would be better to use, the 24 or the 18?
