Topics I've Started

Hot water pressure suddenly low

27 December 2012 - 06:43 PM

I drained the water heater after I noticed it this morning. I ran the faucets for at least a minute each and the pressure is still low. Is this because there's still air in the pipes?

GE Profile Washer (Model WPRB8050D) Leaking Oil in Tub

07 August 2012 - 02:01 AM

Recently, our clothes have come out with oil spots from the washer. I finally saw the immediate cause in the tub (please see attached picture). Where could this be coming from and how can I fix it?

GE Refrigerator - Water not dispensing

05 December 2010 - 11:47 AM

We have a six year old GSH25SGRB and the water dispenser stopped working. The icemaker also seems to have stopped. The filter is a Water Sentinel WSG-1 that I put in last May.

It was working fine Thursday morning then just didn't work when we came back from work.

Any ideas?

Fridge Making Weird Noise (GE GSH25SGRB SS)

27 February 2010 - 01:08 PM

Our fridge started making a cyclic whining sound when the compressor is running. I don't know if it's a fan or the compressor itself. Before I start taking things apart, I was wondering if anybody recognizes the sound and what nay be wrong. I've attached a sound sample.

Re-seating GE WPRB8050D Fabric Softener Cup

25 March 2009 - 04:21 AM

Help! The fabric softener cup at the top of our clothes washer agitator slid down into the agitator neck. Now, instead of the cup right at the top of the agitator, it's sitting about 3 inches down into the neck. How do I fix this?

Please see the attached picture.
