#248381 Maytag Dependable Care Dryer -- noisy and longer drying times

Posted by firecat53 on 12 February 2013 - 09:57 PM

Yep....blower wheel :) <off to order it> Thanks for the tip...I wouldn't have thought to run the dryer without the blower wheel installed!

#237715 Amana BBI20TE Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Issue

Posted by firecat53 on 12 August 2012 - 01:55 PM

Marking this problem as SOLVED! Looks like I was just impatient and didn't understand that the evaporator fan wouldn't come on right away when the freezer was at room temperature. So it's been working great great now for the past 3 days!! The new evaporator fan is substantially quieter than the old one...and hopefully won't develop the poor connections that the old one had.

Thanks for the information and comments...it definitely helped me to understand what was going on!
