We bought this cooktop new but have had it in storage (3+years) whilst we undertook the renovation/rebuild of the kitchen. It was fitted in late January 2014 (yes I know that was a while ago but good things take time).

Is there any way of checking functions or service manual that could shed light on this?

Aaarrgh!. Just when I thought I had everything fixed. Now the bottom drawer is making some extraordinary noises which I think comes from under the front panel. I have been too sick to have a look yet and have just not used it. Any possible suggestions - it sounds like a rattle when the water goes on.

Well I have had a short stay in hospital and not a spare moment upon return, but finally I have had a chance to have a look at the top drawer. I had my husband pick up new lid actuators and at the same time the chap sold him the new wiring harnesses for both drawers.

So I replace the top drawer actuators and wiring support harness. I have run the fast test and two fast cycles with no adverse effects thus far. My next step is to run a longer cycle and then both drawers at the same time. My fingers are crossed.:woot:

Replaced both actuator motors this evening and so far the bottom drawer seems to be functioning okay.  :)

I will leave the machine plugged in overnight and see if it develops the beep.  Otherwise I shall move on to the top drawer.  Will keep you posted.
