In Topic: LG Dryer DLE2514W Does not spin

Hi All!

LG Dryer at it again!

It spins, but now makes a clackity-clack sound!Very loud, and scary!

This happened after my daughter loaded the laundry, but forgot to put the filter screen back in! The machine spins, belt moves, but it sounds terrible!

Any idea?

We took it all apart- vacuumed lint out, found odds and ends, but it still bangs in a steady rhythm.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for all your help! It was the aquastat relay- saved a fortune, and it was an easy switchout! (Hubby did it- not me!) only $75!

Sweet!

got the box (amyjean here) Hubby is going to do the fix tonight or Saturday. Luckily, the weather is holding out for us, but tonight supposed to drop to the teens.

All pipes will remain intact...the heat from the boiler will be sufficient to keep the basement warm. (my way of asking the universe for good vibes!)
