Kitchen Aid Dishwasher Model KUDS01FKSS0

03 July 2011 - 07:10 PM

Hello gang,

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher model #KUDS01FKSS0 that I picked up used for my sons home and we have installed and found that it will power up, the normal cycle light will come on when pressed but it does not fill and I cannot hear the fill valve opening. After a few min the normal cycle light will turn off. If I fill the dishwasher with water from a pitcher it will drain.
Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting?

Electrical odor coming from refrigerator KTLA22EMSS00

12 April 2011 - 11:39 AM

We have a Kitchen Aid refrigerator with the freezer on top. Occasionally when we walk by there is an electrical odor coming from the frig. It sits back in cabinet area with the ½ to ¾ inch space around the sides and if we stick our nose in the space the odor is definitely coming from that area. I sometimes think I can also smell it on the inside but I am not sure. I have cleaned the coils on the bottom and a year ago i replaced the ice maker due to the tray heater going bad.

Any ideas?
Thanks Owen K.

Icemaker working Periodically in KitchenAid KTLA22EMSS00

27 July 2010 - 08:14 PM

I have a KitchenAid KTLA22EMSS00 with a #S 106 626636 icemaker. The icemaker started acting up approx 6 months ago and I could hear the motor trying to dump the ice. The sound was a creaking noise. I was able to get it working by dumping a cup of hot water on the icemaker and it would dump the ice then be happy for weeks. Then I would have to repeat the “repair” well now it is only going a few days between the “repair” so figured it was time to fix it correctly. So please guide this student so I can become one with my margaritas again.

Jenn Air JDS9860AAP

11 January 2010 - 05:33 PM

Hello folks,

This evening after cooking 2 home made turkey pot pies our Jenn Air JDS9860AAP started showing the F9 error code then locked the door and started buzzing / clicking. I have downloaded the service manual but it lists 3 subcodes 1-3 and these are not showing on the display. My gut tells me that the latch is going south but before I order a replacement I would like some input from other folks that may have seen the same problem.
