#256720 kenmore 417.44092500, new main control board won't go into diagnostic mode

Posted by simmerhawaii on 02 June 2013 - 12:26 PM

SUCCESS!... problem solved...

my 11 year sons hands were a big help, he was able to unsnap the top of the control unit and reattach the wiring harness easily with his small hands.

don't know if i could have done it with my paws without detaching unit...

all good, machine is fine now.  put old main control board back in, she's working fine, will send back the part that did not solve the problem.

thanks again for everyone's help.
