O K , i have the drum out checked all the small electric parts, all good it would seem that the mechanical switch on motor shaft moves fine, dont know how to prove it works electricly, thats why I was asking about the (seperate connector with two blue wires) . can i effectivly check the centrifugal switch function here ?

would the cientrifugal switch be the 2" flat black one with 2 wires adjacent to motor wire flat connecter?

thanks, i didnt get past the "gas dryer" intro page. i'm just home from work and can go into it, including the centrifuge switch lint check.i did look at the wiring diagram, haven't got it straight ,but will. appreciate you guys .

whoa boys!! it would seem the wiring diagram, postedby "REG ", is for  gas dryer, wrong number, mine is the 110 6098 2990 electric

Yes ,the drum turns normally when button is pressed, I have read the links suggested and will try suggested procedures,

Thanks for the input, i have my multimeter in hand and should know more in a few minutes!!

the confounded control relays and "evenheat" self destruct board,are indeed marketing genius 

now I'm confused! (that didn't take much)  did not see the "MOTOR" reference,though from a monitary point it would be a gain. I am tearing the dang beast open, check in with you a little later, thanks again.
